Please, just do the best as you can, and our expert staff will take it from there. As always, every K9 Cart Wheelchair is custom built, highly adjustable, and guaranteed to fit.

A) Body Height________
Hint: Do not include any leg, neck, or head.

B) Leg Height________
Take with leg in a standing/extended stance. If deformed, extend to where comfortable.

C) Width of Body_______
Take straight across body. DO NOT curve tape over sides. Wings should be tucked against the body.

D) Length of Body_______
From breast to tail but do not include tail feathers that extend from body. Keep tape straight do not follow the curve of the body.

E) Distance Between Legs_______
Take as high up toward the body as possible. This will determine the distance of the leg holes on the support harness.

F) Circumference around the top of leg/s._______
Take as high upon the legs as possible. Measure both legs if there’s atrophy or a significant size difference.

G)Length of foot: Right_______ Left_______

Product Description

The Avian, or Chicken Wheelchair by K9 Carts is a custom-built wheelchair designed specifically for birds under 17 lbs.  Wheelchairs for birds larger than 17 lbs are available and can be requested and quoted upon request.

Chicken wheelchairs are suitable for birds that have deformed or missing one or both legs.  The custom support system has one or two holes for the legs to fit through and an opening in the back to allow for elimination.

Lightweight framing and caster wheels allow for easy maneuverability.
